Carlson's universal shotgun plug kit allows you to easily decrease the shell capacity from 4 rounds in the magazine tube down to 2 rounds on most shotguns. The plug can be used without cutting but can easily be trimmed to length for other popular guns. Trimming the universal plug to length is best accomplished with a hand held set of pruning shears, PVC pipe shears or a hacksaw. Always start with the full plug and cut 1/4? to 1/2? off at a time until only 2 rounds fit in the magazine tube (For fitting purposes use the maximum size shell the shotgun is rated for).
